Description

We are proud to be affiliated with the exceptional Alpha B language school in Nice. The dedicated staff at this quality assured school use interactive and stimulating teaching methods during class. This ensures that students understand what they are learning, improve their fluency and enjoy themselves in the process. Students attend twenty classes per week in the school located in the heart of Nice. These classes are taught in small groups using fun and interactive methods and multimedia resources. All class materials are provided so there is no need to bring books. Practicing what you learn in class during activities, excursions and in your spare time with friends is a key element in improving your fluency. Speaking French with both locals and your fellow students is a fantastic way for Transition Year students to gain confidence in their conversation skills.

Accommodation

At Stein Study, we understand that safe and comfortable accommodation is needed to ensure that students have a positive experience while studying abroad. Alpha B vet each host family to ensure that they are fully able to meet each student’s requirements before the beginning of the trips. You can share a double room with a friend or if you are travelling alone we can place you with another student. If you’d rather a single room, we can request one for you for a surcharge. You’ll be provided with breakfast and dinner by your host family and can buy lunch in school or the town of Nice.

School Introduction Video

You’ll need to arrange your own flights. But we will provide you with the details needed regarding the airline you’ll travel with, the flight number and flight times of your outgoing and return journeys to ensure you travel with your Group Leaders and fellow students.

You’ll fly out on the 4th of June 2017.

Students will stay with a welcoming host family who live a short distance from the Alpha B language school in Nice. Each host family is previously vetted by the school staff.

Students can opt to stay from two or three weeks. If you book a two week trip but want to extend your stay while you’re there, that’s no problem.

Transfer between the airport and your host family’s home is provided on arrival and departure.

Students can opt to share a room with a friend or can be placed with another student if they have travelled alone. Staying with a student who you didn’t know before your trip is a great way to widen your circle of friends while getting the chance to practice your language skills with new people.

While all meals are provided, you’ll need money for socialising and shopping during your time away.

Having a foundation of conversational French is beneficial to students going on any of our language courses but even less advanced students will see their fluency flourish in a short space of time during this immersive experience.
