Description

We are delighted to be affiliated with the excellent Humboldt Institut based in Bad Schussenried. The dedicated team at this award winning language school provide German language courses and accommodation of the highest standard to students from all over the world. The school is nestled between a lovely park and an extensive outdoor recreation area and boasts an impressive infrastructure that allows students to partake in a range of recreational activities during their stay.

With this intensive study abroad opportunity, students learn in small groups of 10 - 12 pupils and attend 30 lessons per week. Lessons are taught by experienced and fully qualified tutors who use engaging and stimulating teaching methods to ensure that students find these intensive lessons enjoyable as well as educational. You’ll learn alongside other international students and through interactive group work and will improve your overall German comprehension and expression as you practice conversation skills together. The small class size at the language school creates a personalised environment where your tutor can continuously monitor your overall progress and attend to your individual needs.

All students stay on campus at the boarding school in twin rooms with shower/toilet and balcony. Students are carefully matched with someone who has comparable German language skills yet different native languages to encourage them to practice their German. Girls and boys are housed separately.

This is a great On-Campus option for students looking to experience a German school, a range of activities and to improve their German in a short space of time.

Students can opt to stay between one and four weeks.

Transfer between the airport and your accommodation is provided on arrival and departure for a surcharge

Having a foundation of conversational German is beneficial to students going on any of our language courses but even less advanced students will see their fluency flourish in a short space of time during this immersive experience.

While all meals are provided, you’ll need money for socialising and shopping during your time away.

You’ll need to arrange your own flights. But we provide you with details of the most direct route.

Students can opt to share a room with a friend or can be placed with another student if they have travelled alone. Staying with a student who you didn’t know before your trip is a great way to widen your circle of friends while getting the chance to practice your language skills with new people.
