Description

Students will attend thirty classes per week at the excellent Humboldt Institute language school located at the edge of Lindenberg. The tutors encourage interaction between students in class and use stimulating teaching methods to ensure students find this trip exciting and educational. This immersive trip is ideal for Transition Years who want to improve their fluency while experiencing an entirely new culture. When not speaking German in class, you’ll get to practice it in your free time and during activities and excursions. This will hugely improve your overall written and oral comprehension and expression as you fully embrace the language, culture and way of life.

Dates & Prices

The price list for thirty classes per week, accommodation, full board, transfers, activities and excursions is as follows:

4th-16th June            €1,499

Accommodation

A vital element in creating an amazing experience while studying abroad is ensuring that the student’s accommodation is safe and comfortable. Our dedicated partners at the Humboldt provide accommodation of the highest standard in their on site student residence. While you can travel over with your friends you won’t be able to share a room. You’ll be placed with a student you don’t know to encourage you to speak as much German as possible. You’ll be provided with full board during your stay in this modern and recently renovated school campus. Students will have access to the school’s amazing sports, leisure and recreational facilities. These include a climbing wall, mountain bikes, a music room, and indoor pool and a TV room. We want to help create the best language course possible for our students, so if you have any food allergies or accommodation requirements please let us know at the point of booking.

School Introduction Video

Students will stay in the onsite student residence.

You can fly out on Sunday the 4th of June from Dublin airport with your group leaders and other group members.

While most of our group trips’ duration is two to three weeks, this TY trip to LIndenberg takes place from the 4th until the 16th of June so students would be required to stay for the full duration.

Transfer between the airport and your host family’s home is provided on arrival and departure.

Having a foundation of conversational German is beneficial to students going on any of our language courses but even less advanced students will see their fluency flourish in a short space of time during this immersive experience.

While all meals are provided, you’ll need money for socialising and shopping during your time away.

You’ll need to arrange your own flights. But we will provide you with the details needed regarding the airline you’ll travel with, the flight number and flight times of your outgoing and return journeys to ensure you travel with your Group Leaders and fellow students.

Students will be assigned a roommate on arrival. Students are unable to share with friends as we want you to practice getting to know others using your German language skills.
