Course Summary

12 Students

16 - 18 year olds

Our partners at the Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci provide the highest standard of Italian tutoring, accommodation and activity programmes to international students. Included in this Leaving Certificate preparation course are twenty-five lessons per week at this superb school based in Florence, the home of the Renaissance.

The staff here use teaching methods that comply with the standards outlined by quality control body, the Accademia Italiana di Lingua. Twenty of these lessons are taught in small groups no larger than twelve. The fully qualified and native speaking tutors use practical exercises to teach Italian grammar.

These classes are designed to be highly interactive to ensure that students remain engaged. Through practising conversation skills alongside other international students, you’ll develop your overall expression and comprehension while increasing your Italian vocabulary. In addition, students attend five classes per week taught in smaller groups.

These allow your tutor to pay greater attention to your needs and facilitate your individual learning goals ahead of your Leaving Certificate oral and written exams. The teaching methods are continuously evaluated and updated by the school’s study director to ensure that lesson plans are enjoyable and effective.
