Description

Our affiliated language school, Malaca Instituto, are based in Malaga and provide the highest standard of tutoring, accommodation and activity programmes to international students. During your immersive trip to Malaga, you'll attend twenty-four Spanish lessons per week. This super-intensive course is taught by highly qualified tutors who use engaging methods to ensure that you develop a passion for Spanish as well as improve your fluency. The classes focus on your comprehension, expression, grammar, vocabulary and syntax. Students will also practice conversation skills during interactive group work with other international pupils. An essential element of this course is to use what you've learned in class during activities and excursions, during which you can chat with locals and totally expose yourself to the new language and culture.

Accommodation

To ensure you have a positive experience while studying abroad, we understand that safe and comfortable accommodation is vital. Students have two options when visiting Malaga: homestay accommodation or student residences. Students under the age of sixteen are required to stay with host families, who have been thoroughly vetted by the dedicated staff at the Malaca Instituto to ensure each student is suitably matched. Your host family’s home will be located a short distance from the language school. You’ll be provided with full board and can share a twin room with another student.

Students over the age of sixteen can decide between staying with a host family or at Malaca Instituto’s on-site student residences at Club Hispánico. This modern campus is equipped with classrooms, a library, a restaurant, a swimming pool and terraces to relax on after class. Here you can share a twin room with a friend or other international students and practise Spanish in a multicultural environment. Students are provided with half-board during their stay and have access to their own bathroom. Should you have any preferences or food allergies, please inform us at the point of booking to allow us to accommodate your needs as best as possible.

School Introduction Video

Students can stay with a host family or in the on-site student residence.

You can opt to stay from two to four weeks.

Courses begin every Monday of the year.

While meals are provided, you’ll need money for socialising and shopping during your time away.

Having a foundation of conversational Spanish is beneficial to students going on any of our language courses but even less advanced students will see their fluency flourish in a short space of time during this immersive experience.

Transfer between the airport and your host family’s home is provided on arrival and departure for a sucharge

Students can opt to share a room with a friend or can be placed with another student if they have travelled alone. Staying with a student who you didn’t know before your trip is a great way to widen your circle of friends while getting the chance to practice your language skills with new people.
