Stein Study works with international schools who are able to provide our students with both superb tutoring and an unforgettable cultural experience. We are delighted to announce our latest partnership with the private international boarding school, San Patricio, based in Toledo.

The school’s mission is to educate students in an environment that encourages their personal development making it the perfect place for Transition Year students to spend between three months and a full academic year.

During their stay at this international Spanish boarding school, Transition Year students study mainstream subjects including Science, Visual Arts and Music. While these are taught through Spanish, students can attend Spanish language classes if they need additional support.

In order for students to attend San Patricio, they are required to be able to communicate sufficiently with native speakers to allow them to successfully manage their coursework and adjust to student life in Spain.

To illustrate their level of fluency, students will be interviewed by the school director prior to enrollment.

During their time at San Patricio, students participate in the Middle Years Program of the International Baccalaureate. This program is designed to help students aged 11 to 17 apply what they’ve learned academically in practical situations.

Through attending classes and living with other international and Spanish students, you will be exposed to an entirely new culture and language which will enrich your personal experience as well as your overall fluency.
