Accommodation

A key element in creating a positive experience for Transition Years studying abroad is to ensure that the accommodation provided is safe, comfortable and within a reasonable distance of your language school. The dedicated team at Colegio Delibes comply with our high standards and thoroughly vet all host families before placing students to ensure you are suitably matched. Students share a double room or stay in a single room with a welcoming Spanish host family who will provide them with full board. Curfew for all students is 11pm from Sunday to Thursday and 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays. We understand that each student’s needs are unique so if you have any special requirements or food allergies, please do not hesitate to inform us at the point of booking.

School Introduction Video

You’ll need to arrange your own flights. But we will provide the details of the recommended flights to ensure students travel as a group with their Group Leaders.

While all meals are provided, you’ll need money for socialising and shopping during your time away.

You can fly out any Sunday during the course of this summer camp and start classes the next day.

Students will stay with a previously vetted host family close to the language school where they will attend classes.

Students can opt to stay for two or three weeks.

Transfer between the airport and your accommodation is provided on arrival and departure.

Having a foundation of conversational Spanish is beneficial to students going on any of our language courses but even less advanced students will see their fluency flourish in a short space of time during this immersive experience.

Students can opt to share a room with a friend or can be placed with another student if they have travelled alone. Staying with a student who you didn’t know before your trip is a great way to widen your circle of friends while getting the chance to practice your language skills with new people.
